Coach Mag’s pursuit of fitness and helping others has always been two of her major passions. When she was in high school she was introduced and immediately drawn to weightlifting and aerobics. Physical fitness then became a priority to her. She found ways to make sure she worked out, whether it was squeezing in training sessions between her full time job and being a full time college student or waking up at odd hours, just to make sure she trained. Her obsession in becoming fitter became so evident, that in one of her previous corporate employments, she used every last second of her lunch hour and sporadic breaks to workout at her company’s gym. She eventually inspired a group of co-workers to join her during their breaks as well. This is where she realized she had a true passion and knack to inspire and help others. In 2014, when she was exposed to her very first CrossFit class, she realized that she found the PERFECT fitness program and figured out how she could pair-up her two passions: training and motivating others by coaching. She immediately became hooked to the CrossFit methodology. CrossFit has drastically changed her life in so many positive ways and has made her the fittest she has ever been! She truly enjoys the process of learning to teach…the more she knows, the more eager she is to pass on that knowledge and is truly motivated by witnessing others’ progress. When she’s not spending her time with her boys, or helping her husband with his business, she’s training or coaching and inspiring athletes.
